Dr. Fanarjian attended medical school at Albany Medical College.  She completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of South Florida where she trained under Dr. McCarthy.  As a National Health Services Corps scholar, she practiced general obstetrics & gynecology at a community health clinic (in North Carolina) for two years.  She moved back to Tampa in 2010 and split her time between Bay Pines VA and Planned Parenthood.   In addition to providing high quality outpatient and surgical gynecology, she was involved in medical student and resident education.
At the VA, she was the only staff surgical gynecologist serving a diverse group of patients in a wide catchment area.  She trained primary care residents in women's health  and advocated for improved health services for female veterans.
She brings both experience and passion to this new opportunity.  She hopes to build on the practice's existing reputation for providing high quality, patient centered gynecological care.
